Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk: Boston, August 15-17 2008
the Breast Cancer 3 Day Walk benefiting Susan G. Komen for the Cure, is an annual nationwide even taking place in major cities throughout the summer. in each city, volunteers sign up, train, and raise donation money, in order to be able to participate in the 3 Day, 60 mile walk.
my wife, carrie, while not doing taxes or writing about taxes, is planning on participating this year in Boston. she has some ways to go in order to reach her goal: if you’d like to make a donation to support her walk, her team, and ultimately the research fighting breast cancer, you can visit carrie’s donations page. if you have any questions about donating, there is a Donations FAQ page. my tax advisor assures me that donations are tax deductible. 🙂
