take the way home, leads back to sullivan street
take the way home
that leads back to sullivan street
past the shadows
that fall down wherever we meet
pretty soon now
i won’t come around
the counting crows on the ipod (4th gen, 20gb). good stuff.
so, what’s new?
not a lot. been working quite a bit. they sent me on another trip to california, that was fun.
progress on the house is coming, slowly. you’ve seen the pictures of course. the front yard is approaching completion. then i begin the process of trying to level our post & pier foundation using a large jack and shim blocks. fun!
oh, i also figured people might want to see a muddled, dark picture of me from a bad angle, riding the bus. enjoy!
just kidding. something about the composition of this, with the building in the background struck me.
the car
while i was in california, my lovely wife washed & waxed my car. it hasn’t been this clean in a long time! pictured here next to a friend it found @ the park & ride (friend: foreground).
i’m 3 payments away from finally owning my car. when i do, then i can begin modifying/upgrading the parts that need attention. i once referred to this as ‘maintenugrading’ but far too many syllables to catch-on. pity.
i think that’s it for now. expect more pictures going forward — they’re easy and they take up a lot more room than my pointless babbling.
