washington pass

we took a ride up to Washington Pass, in the Northern Cascade Moutains. the destination was chosen because of snow – we miss the regular snowfall that we were used to back east (and seeing mountains and driving twisty roads never hurts, either).

i’d like to take more time off and drive Rt 20 all the way through the passes, and down to Rt 2 for the return trip. perhaps we’ll have a recap of that trip here in the future.
